16/01/2019 - 14:30 to 15:30
Event location:

The George Institute, 1st Floor, Hayes House, 75 George Street, Oxford OX1 2BQ

Dr Dexter Canoy

Dr Dexter Canoy (Epidemiologist, Deep Medicine research group) will discuss how large-scale electronic health records can be used to characterise long-term, current and usual blood pressure, compare risk associations across these different blood pressure phenotypes, and evaluate the performance of commonly used cardiovascular disease risk prediction models when adding indicators of long-term blood pressure.
